I can't really describe much of the movie without giving it away. It was refreshing to see this original and fascinating plot. There are definitely some interesting and unique twists.
Loosely, a small group of criminals fights for their survival as they are hunted down. However there is much more to it than this. The movie is at times funny and at others disturbing. While generally light-hearted, it does bring up some interesting questions of ethics.
In my non-expert opinion, I thought the movie was well produced. The characters were believable. I do enjoy sci-fi, but I think the film is approachable even for those who aren't fans of the genre.

Judging by the the other reviews, its clear that the movie makes you feel something. I really enjoyed it and found the acting to be super solid, with the gang members turning in some great performances which I wasn't really expecting from the movie based on the trailer. The main clone guy was great too.
The plot at first seemed all over the place, but it ended up coming together really nicely with a LOT of super quotable lines in there. Thongdaddy in particular has some zingers.
And I acgtually found the underlying themes of surveillance and the replacement of the middle class with replicants super timely and on point.
Though it's clear this wasn't a $100m movie, it does look really great for whatever they spent on it. The camera work, color, sound and score all fit the movie perfectly. And i definitely hope to see a sequel, perhaps with a larger budget.
Cuz that helmet is ICONIC.

This pathetic excuse for a film plunges though the bottom of the barrel as the WORST movie I have ever seen in my entire life !!!
It looks like something a bunch of drunk high school kids shot on the weekend with an iPhone. Almost all the interior and exterior scenes look like they were filmed in an abandoned warehouse. That ,is only two room of and abandoned warehouse - making the cinematography monotonous.
The acting is atrociously amateur. The story and dialogue is completely nonsensical. Clone Cops is about as funny and entertaining as a wet floor mop. I suspected this might be anemic on a $300,000 budget. But not nearly as bad as I could ever imagine. You get what you pay for.
Any spoilers? No. The film is spoiled from start to finish.

I was at a viewing of this movie in Somerville, Massachusetts. I couldn't believe when I heard that one of the members working on this film spent $300,000 of his own money to make it! That is dedication, that's what it means to throw caution to the wind. I remember saying this at the viewing, that it reminds me of the Netflix show "Umbrella Academy," because the team of people that are against the army of clones each have a distinctive talent. One is a hacker, one has a strange obsession with guns, and I can't remember the other ones but I know they had a talent too. I was confused on what was happening at first, but the story gradually reveals what is going on as you watch. I think the plot, One Tank Frank's lab setup, and the livestreaming interface were the strong suits of this film. If I were to give suggestions of what I would like to see in this series, I would like to see more choreographed fight scenes, and maybe less emotional scenes/ death scenes, since I don't think the actors really knew why they were getting emotional in a scene or their relationship they were supposed to have with the person they were talking to. I do not mean for any of this to come across as hate, just things I would like to see. But I am aware of the extreme difficulty of filmmaking. Philip Cordell did a great job as the Clone Cops, very energetic and funny. One Tank Frank, Thongdaddy420, and Persephone, also stood out as good actors to me. There was alot of restrictions due to budget, because even though $300,000 is alot for an Indie movie, movies are one of the most expensive forms of art out there, possibly the most expensive. But I know that with a higher budget, this movie would have a following. A funny action movie with a story that keeps you engaged.
The acting was so lame an untrained baboon could have delivered more realism and action. The dialog was so poor, if I was one of these actors I'd reconsider my life choices.
Considering I understood this to be a futuristic movie, I had tech in 1980 that looked more futuristic than the set and scenery.
I have to question who and why someone commited time and money to this project without visibility of the trash. Doesn't even deserve a star but this belongs at the bottom of the bin.
