The anime was released on Blu-ray in a premium and standard edition by NIS America. The former was released on August 6, 2013 and the latter on August 4, 2015. The series was dubbed in Tagalog by Creative Programs, Inc.
Danshi Koukousei no Nichijou includes eight pre-airings of about five minutes in length, which were distributed through Nico Nico Douga. These pre-airings were all eventually shown during the TV series' run.
Based on a Japanese manga series written and illustrated by Yasunobu Yamauchi. The manga was serialized in Gangan Online and was released in seven manga volumes between May 21, 2009, and September 27, 2012.
