Best one so far barring next week's episode

This show has been great fun. I've enjoyed Jude Law's character a lot.

This episode was the best yet, with lots of twists and turns. Jod is an absolute menace apparently. He really wants his money.

I'm very intrigued by At-attin and how it plays into the rest of the Star Wars world. Hopefully we get that and more next week.

The pirate theme of this show has been a welcome premise. You can just sit back and have fun. The kids are good characters and I like their actors. The effects are also well done. The Onyx Cinder in particular looks very good.

I'm excited for next week's episode! Bring it on.

    Best episode yet of series?

It been quite dull, kids pilot starship to another star system but can't get back, find out how to get back and this episode is them returning home.

It should have been a lot better, if it was a film, you might fall asleep really dragged out and only character worth noting is robot. This episode Jude Laws character was used a bit more and this episode was good and flowed better. The whole series was like A. I generated story idea and has finally ended up back where it started. It is very one dimensional and no really challenge for characters. The next episode could be make or break for series. It might be biggest flop of the Star Wars series, not sure ten-year-olds are really enjoying this. It's kind of revolving around, who is the supervisor-the person pulling string on the planet. Tak Ren nods the pirate of legends has connections to this planet, but will he even be in next episode. Whoever owns this much wealth would surely be a Sith. This being set after Return of jedi could be about how the money is used to set up the first order.

Will they have easter egg to explain plot holes in Force Awakens. How else could first order have developed so quickly.

We're Gonna Be in So Much Trouble

We're Gonna Be in So Much Trouble, more like everyone is going to be in trouble.

The kids are in the Onyx Cinder and seemingly on their way home.

Their parents have not sat idly by. Planning to find their kids, even rescue them from a plant run by droids.

As for Jod Na Nawood. He might have some Jedi powers but he is a villain through and through. Doing a deal with the pirates and after the fabled treasure buried in At-Attin.

This episode leaves you in no doubt that Jod was playing the kids all the time. It was the treasure he wanted.

A life lesson that not all nice adults have your best interest at heart.

Maybe Skeleton Crew is an updated dark children's fairy tale. It did feel too stretched even though it is approaching the end game.

    Claimsies on a great episode

Skeleton Crew is the biggest TV surprise since Lessons in Chemestry. Who knew that a morally bankrupt studio hellbent on destroying the very essence of Lucasfilm that has produced one disaster after the other is still capable of doing the brand of Star Wars justice? Who knew that in an era of bad movies and horrid TV shows this would stand out as a shining beacon of fun and entertainment?

    I certainly didn't.

Yea, there are a couple of things such as the faith of Brutus which was not perfect. And making "Claimsies" on a ship is both dumb and hilariously fun. And again the episodes are way too short. But the rest is pure enjoyment. Jude Law is brilliant as the, now clear, antagonist of the story. The children continue to be some of the best kids actors I have ever seen, and we also now know a bit more about the actual story.

My main concern is that how can they stick the landing with, presumably, only 30min of screentime left? The answer is they can't. Unless the finale is 1hr long there is no way to tie everything together and give us a satisfying ending. But perhaps they can surprise us again?

Another 8/10 which is basically where this show belongs as a whole. It is has been a fun ride, sadly it is almost over. Disney better order two or three more seasons.

Oh this thing is cooking now!

Lee Isaac Chung precisiely balances this episode on the edge of warmth and love, greed and villainy. The dance is a sight to behold! I found myself laughing out loud at the humor, feeling warm fuzzies at the love, and spitting out curses when misfortune strikes our young adventurers.

This series oozes childlike spirit. To those critiquing the "unbelievable" plotting, I believe they might be missing the magic right in front of them. This is a story with children at its core, and it unapologetically calls claimsies on that perspective. The whimsy, wonder, and blunder are what bring us back to remembering what it's like being a kid. That's the special sauce here.

As a father of four, I couldn't help but see pieces of my own life reflected in these characters. One scene, in particular, stood out: a moment where a character raises his voice to scare the children. It hit me hard-probably because I realized that, in moments of frustration, I might appear that way to my own kids. Watching this with them, I hope they won't relate to the fear those young characters felt. The acting, writing, and directing of that harsh moment deserve applause for holding up that mirror to help make me a better person for those I love.

One episode left! May the force be with you!

    • Trivia
It is not yet known which starship manufacturer built the Onyx Cinder, however its hull geometry bears a strong resemblance to Latero Spaceworks ships like the S-161 "Stinger" XL. Greez Dritus' ship the Stinger Mantis was a modified S-161 model luxury yacht, a very fast and agile ship whose services were procured by former Jedi Knight Cere Junda and Jedi Padawan Cal Kestis in Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order (2019) and Star Wars Jedi: Survivor (2023). In addition to the hull design the control layout in the cockpit suggests it may have been built by Lateros, who possess four arms. Some of the controls are located on the bulkhead above the pilots chairs in addition to the forward console; the controls on the Mantis had a similar layout since Lateros can easily use their upper arms to use controls above their heads while their lower arms control the joystick and forward console functions.
