The finale has Jod in full villain mode. He explains to the kids how he had some training as a Jedi. He had fuller training in how to survive.
Jod and the pirates plan to invade At Attin and plunder the planet. First Jod needs to get inside then planet, charm the parents of the kids. He does this by threatening the kids as to what will happen to them if they try to spill the beans.
His plan is to deal with the Supervisor of At Attin. Then shut down the barrier that protects the planet to let the pirate ship inside.
It was an exciting finale as the kids and parents unite to stave off the invaders. My main issue was that the Supervisor was so easily dealt with Jod. Especially as he suspected Jod in the first place.

Decent show wrapped up. I think the most important element to this show is that it gave kids a sense of wonder that's been missing from
Many productions.
Will it please all Star Wars fans (and I have been from the start) absolutely not, because unlike the awful acolyte it didn't try to, it was a mix of goonies, pirate adventures, wizard of Oz, with a bit Of caravan of courage or return to Endor.
I think the show runners got this one about right and it's the first of the Disney stuff I feel my 9 year old could actually get into as a view to the old Star Wars world. June law worked too
Well done 8/10.

You know that wonderful feeling of having something exciting to wake up to on the weekend? This is it. This is what makes good Star Wars and if you are on the sidelines not sure if you should watch this show because of the horrible recent Disney stuff lately, you're missing out.
It captures what makes the original Star Wars fun and adventurous. The stakes feel real, the characters feel real. The writing is top tier and the production value is on par with Andor.
If Disney has one mainline show like Andor, and 1-2 of these smaller budget, could be one off adventures in the Star Wars universe, you got subscription. What did well here is capture the wonder that Star Wars has. If there isn't a season 2, make an animated adventure series or give these same writers another series. You got a winning team here.

Disney needs some new writers that can put something together thats at least believable in this unbelievable world. Ignoring anything semi plausible to advance a story is lazy and void of any merit.
This final episode turned implausible so quickly, not just for it's running time, rushed ending and behaviour of the main antagonist so at odds at what we watched over the series. I really don't care if they make another one, Jude Law would do well to walk away.
Just let down that yet another project has been ruined by poor writing, pacing and character development, which is the only constant in this franchise now.

Episode was way too short to wrap up the show, only like 32 minutes long as a grand finale? The pacing was way out of wack, the villain behaves in a way that is so ridiculous and not realistic. Look, I get that this is a kids show, but it's not an excuse. The show overall gets a 6/10 for me, but this was my least favorite episode in the whole thing, and I really wouldn't recommend anyone older than 12 watch this show. Visuals are great throughout, ships and VFX were on par and better than recent star wars, but the story was a completely non impactful predictable short nothing burger. Hoping for better times ahead...
