The Closest Ones

This movie has a lot of layers to it, I wish it was longer. But overall it was a great movie and nice writing by Maurandis Berger. The music was very good and so was the storytelling the way it was put and edited together. Great transitions and catchy vibes, it was very easy to follow and keep up with.

This isn't your typical polished studio film, and that's what makes The Closest Ones special. It's clearly an independent project, but it carries more emotional weight than many big-budget releases. The story pulls you in slowly, and once you're hooked, it doesn't let go. I appreciated the layered characters - everyone felt like someone you've known or passed by in real life. The voiceover was used masterfully, offering insight without over explaining. The use of sound, street ambience, and even silence at times made the world feel alive. While some scenes could've used tighter editing, that rawness gave the film a real charm. You can tell this movie was made with passion and purpose. It deserves to be seen and discussed.
