The film was shot as " Karam Path" and lay incomplete for 10 years. New producer's finally bought the incomplete film took over the project The story line had to be changed. This was due to Sunil Shetty not wanting to complete the film. The new story line had Sunil Shetty turn into Krishna Abhishek.

On the attempt of reviving the film, Sunil Shetty refused to give his dates to the producers. He said his dates were not transferable from one producer to another for the same film. When the film was revived, the producers were different who brought the footage from the previous producers.
In the year 2001, when Ashok Gaekwad was asked if the film was abandoned or if the film will be revived. He mentioned that due to finance issues it was delayed and are soon looking to reviving the project. Rumours made the rounds that Sunil Shetty had lost interest in continuing the film as he knew the film was not shaping well.
