Coffee with Kadhal

It's a breezy story. Reminds me of the Sundar C and Karthick movies from 90s. Fabulous story, great star cast and superb dialogues. One liners and punches were good. Movie background, locations and songs are a value addition to the movie. Special mention to the editor. It was a fun to watch the expressions of Jai, Jeeva, Malavika, Sri kanth and Samyuktha one after the other. Everything about the movie was super thoughtful. Another special mention to DD for doing a fabulous acting in this movie without much experience. Do more movies of this kind or consider doing the sequel. It was also fun to watch Vijay television stars like vinoth, rahul thatha in the movie.

This is the director's Hindi movie kinda tryout.

The movie looks colorful but with impure minds & relationships playing the core part of the plot, it makes the film not adaptable to the native audience and feels a bit alien in that aspect.

This is the director's usual making of multiple gang setup-based films with lots of humor, emotions, love, lust/glamour sprinkled all over throughout the film.

Yuvan's music didn't seem to add any value to this film at all

all the artists did perform their job well, especially the 2 top comedians pulled in, did their best, a maximum possible to the script they were given which makes it at least somewhat watchable

overall, it's a one-time watcher if you want to go in mindless mode and kill time.

Okay this movie isnt great by any means , but what this movie does is that when you are stressed,tired,bored ,depressed and you watch it on a rough day/night this will lift up your mood for sure.

Drawbacks: Jiiva has a great sense for humour , could have used him better as he has that capability to deliver comedy genre very well. Movie gets monotonous here and there and this script itself had a great potential to make an absolute chaos and build more comedy around the stroy.

So, yes this movie can be silly and frivolous and not the best work from Sundar C , but sometimes this is all we just need.

Masala family drama with a lot of characters. All the characters have a back story and that leads to a lot of twists ( mostly expected ones) and turns. Story is a little messed up and needs time to understand and keep track of. Expected a lot more comedy scenes from Yogi Babu and Kingsley combination, there was a disappointment there.

There is an effort to give roles to all characters but that only confuses people as the story becomes more messed up.

Verdict: if you have a lot of time to kill and nothing else to watch and a lot more time to ponder why you watched this and what all happened, you should certainly watch this movie!

Sundar. C should stop directing films. It's really a weird movie. There's no solid story, bad acting, and ambiguous characterizations.

Unwanted songs and love scenes are injected throughout the movie as fillers. They don't have solid content, so they filled the movie with useless scenes.

There are three lead actors and actresses. But no one has justified their roles. I didn't expect this crap from a brilliant director.

You either update yourself before making a film or get retired. They still think the audience is stupid. Please come out of your safe zones and make decent films in the future.
