- Jack: There are few that a man truly loves, and that's his home, you know what I saying? That's his family. A real man does what he has to do to protect them.
- Jack: Now, you see for the first time in a long time, I've got the people I love close to me, and I put them there. Not every man can say that he takes care of his own, that he bought a building and moved his entire family into it, and now he's paying the rent. And yes, maybe I've done things I'm not necessarily proud of to get them there. But you know what, if you are lucky you survive, and so if there's even a glimpse of happiness out there, you do your best and you hold onto that with two hands.
