Jacky St. James has adapted effectively to the demands of this marketplace, demonstrated by this intriguing entry in her Sweet Sinner "The Mistress" series. It delivers the necessary four full-scale XXX scenes, with just enough dramatic acting/dialogue set-up footage to make it all hang together.
Title role this time goes to attractive blonde starlet Lilly Bell, cast as a college student infatuated with her film course prof Derrick Pierce. She's working on a class project making a documentary about a sex cult run by a hippy-dippy guru played by Robby Echo and his authoritarian partner Kira Noir. She's in undercover mode, but the thrust of the story has her falling under the sway of very convincing, dogmatic Kira, who preaches a strange philosophy which embraces homewrecking!
With the use of flashbacks to deliver otherwise unrelated sex scenes, St. James cleverly integrates the cult gimmick into her usual tale of cheating. Against her better impulses, Lilly acts upon Kira's very bad influence to seduce happily married Pierce. We also get to see Pierce having sex with his sympathetic (but clueless) wife Aila Donovan, she of the moth-like fake eyelashes.
Kira has a very different look, notably her natural breasts replaced by big fake ones. Though episodic, the movie builds to a nicely twisty ending, not what one would expect.
