Royal Tinder

Royalty is at last popular in Australia. It is not because the country has come round to see Queen Georgiana differently.

It is because her brother Prince Frederick, heir to the British throne has flown into Australia. He has drawn the crowds.

Freddie has bed news for his sister Georgiana after the negative publicity of her sleeping with the royal footman.

Now Buckingham Palace has ordered Georgiana to find a husband. She also needs to improve her image with animal groups after her shooting antics with kangaroos.

As expected the later episodes make an attempt to soften Georgiana. Freddie might be popular but is a bit of a smeghead. His charm is superficial and he cannot help bickering with his sister.

An improvement over the first two episodes but once again it is not that funny. This really needed better writing.

Georgiana isn't best pleased when her brother, heir to The British throne, Freddie arrives, and details that by order of her Majesty The Queen, Georgiana is to wed.

I think we all know the format by now, and I imagine those that don't like the show, would have ditched it by this stage. However, if you're sticking with it, you're probably enjoying Georgiana's antics. I'm enjoying seeing The Australian public warming to her a little, she's a down to Earth disaster, trouble seems to not just follow her, but haunt her.

Favourite scenes, secondly the bar scene, that was funny, but best of all was Freddie and The Koala, that was a laugh out loud moment.

I still can't help but wonder if Georgiana is based on someone who's name dare not be mentioned, all that talk of the spare.....I'll say no more.

I bet Daniel Lapaine had a laugh filming this, an actor born in Australia, playing a British Royal, who's brother to a Queen, who's a national disgrace, he played the part very well.
