"He's Alive" is an old gospel song from the 70's by Don Francisco.

The reindeer costume is nod to the one that Dolly wore in Bob Hope's Jolly Christmas Show (1988).

"Mountain Magic" is a song that was first heard - very briefly, and with an intentionally overproduced synthesizer arrangement - in Dolly's first TV movie, A Smoky Mountain Christmas (1986). She performed it in its entirety on her self-titled variety show two years later, and she's been known to sing it in live venues on occasion.
