Loved the first 3 seasons. Seasons 4 and 5 bored and depressed me instead of entertaining me. 2 1/2 years later the final season 6 roles out. I've got 2 episodes invested and I'm bored to tears. I'm tired of June and her facial expressions, tired of straining through darken scenes trying to see what is going on. Tired of the predicable storyline. Use lighting for God's sake. In 2017 when this series premiered it was great, since there have been many great series that blow this away. I'll give this 2 more episodes. If it doesn't go somewhere I'm done. If I gave this a fair rating it would be in two parts. The first 3 seasons at an 8. The last 2 plus 2 episodes at a 2.
I'm always dismayed when people sound off about close ups of Elisabeth Moss, as if they're not a valid artistic choice. There are many close ups of other characters and lots of wider shots of the lead actress. It almost seems misogynistic, to just criticise close crop shots of Elisabeth Moss.
As to the episode it is good to see the drive to normalise relations with Gilead, as would happen sooner or later. Elisabeth Moss gives a nuanced performance along with Yvonne Strahovski. As the breakdown of Canada's refugee program accelerates the fight for survival will necessarily become a fight for freedom, and that is what we see the start of in this episode, and the "enemy of my enemy" truly is my "friend". We probably all feel we know where this is going, and that's okay, as long as it is done with truth and respect. I, for one, look forward to the process.

This entire episode reeeeeaked off soft-hearted, pathetic, femtrash.
The unendng hypocrisies of this series never cease to exist. I'm invested to this point so I will see it through.
But my God this series has some of the worst writing i've ever seen. It angers me to endure this crap.
This season better be worth it. Its been so garbage for so long. Started off incredibly interesting but now it is soulless and weak as hell.
Utterly disgusted at how fitting this is for todays society and yet nobody watching catches their own hypocrisy for supporting this garbage.
Let Gilead reign. Such nonsense.

- TriviaThe American flag in Mark Tuello's office has only 2 stars on it, representing the only two states left, Hawaii and Alaska.
- GoofsThe train taking the Americans had only 3 train cars and 1 engine at the end of S5 E10. At the beginning of S6 E1 the train has 5 cars and 1 engine. This is explained to June, after she sleeps, that they passed through Winnipeg and added more cars and people.
