The month of May features a ton of great genre titles coming to VOD and digital platforms, including the highly anticipated zombie drama Maggie, starring Arnold Schwarzenegger and Abigail Breslin. The Orchard is releasing the Kiwi horror comedy mockumentary What We Do in the Shadows later this month and we also have both Oren Peli’s Area 51 and the sure-to-be-insane The Human Centipede 3 (Final Sequence) from Tom Six to look forward to as well. The indie spookfest Evangeline is also getting a VOD release from Uncork’d Entertainment and look for the latest from Dark Sky Films, Let Us Prey, which arrives the last week of May.

The Burning Dead (Uncork’d Entertainment)- 3/3

Uncle Slavko's All-American Family Lodge is a friendly vacation destination... until toxic waste infects the workers dressed as Bigfoot. Creature horror gets a twist in Matt Jackson's Love In The Time Of Monsters, a new film starring Doug Jones and Kane Hodder that's now available on DVD and VOD. That’s how we get movies like Sorority Party Massacre, where the writer/director Chris W. Freeman hopes to reel in viewers with the promise of sexuality only to disappoint them with nothing of the sort along with horrible editing, acting, writing, and cinematography. This is the kind of release that makes you wonder what distributor was so desperate for titles that they picked up a piece of garbage like this and tried to sell it for money when it doesn’t even deserve to be seen for free on YouTube.

Hot on the heels of our exclusive update on director Chris Freeman and Justin Jones’ upcoming sexy slasher comedy Sorority Party Massacre, here’s exclusive word on one of their next feature projects; Diary of an Exorcist.
