This moves along in a good-natured way, with mainly predictable steps. Once we get to the offices of a porn site/magazine, there are some easy jokes off sex toys, etc. And a few stock characters - a malevolent loser, a slightly creepy if sweet nerd, a decent potential love interest. Elizabeth Gilles looks a little like she wandered out of "Two Broke Girls" and has a similar mix of conventional and adventurous sexuality. Her surprise mission is vaguely reminiscent of "Ugly Betty" or "The Devil Wore Prada", with her out to save a world she initially doesn't sympathize with at all; at moments it feels a little like "Emily in Paris" if Emily had ended up in a completely unfamiliar industry rather than a new city. The ultimate outcome isn't particularly surprising, but the journey to get there is painless enough if you're not watching too closely.
The movie was really entertaining to watch. The storyline could have been a little better it felt a bit rushed but it's understandable since it's a movie and they did not have a lot of time for really deep storylines. The actors were all so good especially the lead Elizabeth and Harvey. Their comedic timing were in point. I would be interest in a sequel to get to know all the characters a little more. It would be interesting to explore Ruby's relationship with her coworkers outside of work and also her relationship with her dad and his new child. Overall a fun movie to watch. The cast and crew did a good job on this indie.
I have watched I don't know how many movies, but this has to be on eof the worst.
I seriously have to ponder who comes up with this stuff, it's like they expect that because the film touches on to a sexually subject people will be want to watch it.
And they try that path straight up with the language and discussing porn early on.
The movie has no substance in where it is going to go, it is is saying watch me for shock value, the actors are not appealing or entertaining, and I would expect that this is to no surprise, considering the script they have to deal with.
It is an absymal movie and one not to watch.

I had no idea what to expect but I am really happy I found this for my girlfriends. It had a unique style and we laughed out loud (ok giggling too) last night. We even learned some new vocabulary and found some new ideas....
Terrific cast -I really loved the connection between Harvey and Elizabeth and there was even a moving scene with them that was surprising. I liked that it wasn't so much about 'sex' but that there was a storyline I could follow- light and fun for a girls night...it gave us quite a bit to talk about.
Definitely not suitable for the kids but certainly could be a conversation starter for a partners. Interesting take on a 'taboo' industry and it was great to see the influence a woman could have in that male dominated world.

Despite its unserious tone, this movie proves to be a delightful and engaging comedic romp throughout. Elizabeth Gillies shines in her role, skillfully portraying a strong female presence in the workplace. Each of the coworkers feel right, even if they are a bit cliche (the mean one, the weird one, the old man, and the one you want to be with).
Every joke hits its mark, with several delivering laugh-out-loud moments. Considering its modest budget and relatively short production schedule, it offers a refreshing blend of comedy and a contemporary perspective on the adult entertainment industry.
