Another great Wisconsin based movie!!! This one was actually based off an urban legend in Green Bay. If my memory is correct (my disclaimer lol) the urban legend was on a murder committed at theater (now Meyer Theater) in Green Bay and the balcony is haunted and the award winning screen writer, director, and actor: Freddy Moyano: MLC Productions heard tell of this urban legend he kept the legend part as fact but ran with it after that and flipped the script on it's end to write a fun, quirky, time traveling movie of a guy traveling back to 1890 to clear his name and will he get back before time runs out. Great 1890 period costumes and attention to detail on all the sets and props!
We have watched a number of movies, this one is the first one we were compelled to send our review. We don't know what movie some of the reviewers (if even real) watched, but it can't be the same one we did. We didn't see authenticity in some of the wardrobe, language, sets. Plot - what plot? Thriller - not so much. Confusing - oh yeah. We felt the storyline was made as it was filmed. The names of many of the women were names that you here in the 20th century and not the 19th century. We thought the storyline started ok at the beginning but then gets lost in chaos and we had a hard time following why. We did not find it intriguing or we don't care to waste our time watching it again or seeing any sequels. Our game night group could only rate this 1/10.
1890's depiction of a northeast Wisconsin murder mystery legend brilliantly portrayed. Costumes, music and sets all clearly reflect the period.
Creative cinematography. The time travel is brilliantly brought about. Scenes are moving and keep the viewer engaged in the characters lives. The viewer feels empathy for Jack Berger as he is so often miss judged. Great cast and acting. The first time you watch it keeps you wondering what happens next. The second time I watched, more things fell into place and it has a unique lure to watch again and again to pick up more clues hidden within the plot. Local history and ethnic culture is beautiful portrayed. Definitely a must see again and again.

When you take an urban legend from a hundred years ago and use that as a a basis for a murder mystery a hundred years later you get Room 108: The Clearing!
From award winning Freddy Moyano and a mult- layered talented cast plus so many historical revenues in Green Bay, you will get a glimpse into what this movie holds in store for you!
Beautiful period costumes worn by interesting characters and an intriguing script will lead you down the path to figuring out who really murdered the lead character. Guess it if you can because this one is a real teaser with so many twist and turns you'll be on a time traveling twister.
Congratulations everyone who made this film it is a true treasure!

The Green Bay Packers, a candy company, Harry Houdini, an old theater, some old forts, lots of costumes, horses and a woman with cosmic bazooka all come together to tell the story of... WHAT?
Having seen it twice now I'd like to know.
Scenes supposedly of historical places with modern buildings in the background shameless name dropping, meaningless dialogue and wooden acting move an undecipherable plot nowhere. (risk of spoilers is zero_
One might draw comparisons to Ed Wood but he at least he had Bella Lugosi and some perhaps unintended camp.
Intended to be some kind of time travel horror story the real horror is how so many people and local entities were enlisted to enable such a dreadfully incomprehensible patchwork of nonsense. One might think of Max Bialystock of The Producers assembling a show in all the wrong ways only no one would mistake this for a comedy. Maybe if it involved Hitler in some way. Hitler in Green Bay! Now there's a story line!
