Vintage NASA Tech and Ghosts? I'm all in!

You can glean the whole plot from the synopsis and the fine reviews posted here.

So I'll _try_ to add something a bit different.

As soon as the movie opens, we get right into the core of the concept. And *Kudos* to the director and screen writer for not dithering about with useless filler, meaningless " romance" and boring back stories.

Our protagonist stumbles upon some kind of vintage 1950's technological device in an old neighbors' garage. This oddly beautiful device has a _very_ cool Steampunk aesthetic- old toggle switches, heat sinks, VU meters and old radio tubes. Ostensibly, it appears to be a radar-like device. It's purpose is unclear- but not for long!

On the work table in front of the device, there's a very authentic, old-timey NASA tech manual with well worn, yellowed pages. NASA? Oh, I love this already. These are important little details because they enhance the visual aesthetic, provide a time frame for when the device was built and most importantly, what the machine does. It's a *Ghost Finder!* and it works! NASA tech and Ghosts? I love it!

Naturally, these kids being computer tech whizzes, turn this device into an APP for their phones... Don't ask. They simply did it. Go along with it.

*Cool, techy supernatural mayhem ensues.* I was not disappointed, as I loved the concept and how well they produced a quality film on a shoe string budget. Terrific young actors. Dramatic and moody scene illumination. Tight dialogue.

    What's not to love?

    Not bad at all.

This is a professional film. The actots and the direction are pro. Real cinema graphic quality camera shots. Trust me, this no shaky phone camera nonsense. Background music and sounds are perfect, not disjointed at all. All of the actors are at the same intensity. All lines are delivered and received naturally for the characters being portrayed. The editing is smooth and just right in conjunction with the music makes it all rife with suspense. Plenty of scary scenes for everyone. All the actors have foreign accents that's hard to place. This is a quality motion picture. Major studios should be taking a closelr look at these people. Professional in everyday. Not just a shaking camera experience. This isn't videography, it's film making for real.

    Garbage

"It was a first time for them, so no negative feedback!" "It wasn't amazing, but it wasn't bad, either." "Clearly it was low budget." Yes, yes, all of the typical butthurt fake reviews from select cast and crew members. None by any who were paid to give a positive review, because the producers certainly couldn't afford it.

This had to have been made by tech nerds, for tech nerds, to try and make everyone think that tech nerds are actually really cool, and not complete losers. The acting is terrible, the plot makes no sense, the effects and attempted scares are cheap and predictable, and all of the characters are awful people. If you can relate to them, you need to reflect on your life.

The director seemed to ban three things from this movie: Sense, talent, and masculinity.

Not as terrible as it seems

I dont think this film was rated fairly. Yes it might be a low budget straight to dvd film but it does have some good stuff to give. So we have this group of tech people. They find some old hardware and re-enginer it so that it can be turned into an app that can help them see ghostsl brian one of the members uses it in a vr and sees his deceased girlfriend again. Its not long though before we relise that something has angered the ghosts from the spirit realm and if our group of techs seem them they will really be in some serious trouble. One thing this film did really well to me was the cgi. I thought the way the ghosts were captured and the drill that seemed to fly invisbley was pretty seemless. I overall enjoyed this movie and sure the acting is a little bad but hey the cast did their best and to me thats all that maters.

    Low Budget But Not Bad

This is a movie that was made with more passion than cash and it does show at times. The special effects were good and the music and photography worked. The acting however was uneven at best and downright flat at worst.

I like independent movies, some of them are really great and it is a refreshing change from slick Hollywood movies. This was watchable, so extra point for that. It was just that the story was a little over over the place. I think a tighter script may have helped and the acting needed to be a bit better.

There were a few great scares and there were a few tense moments, all up it was a good effort for a low budget flick.
