The Hood is another entertaining short film by Budget Productions. The cast is great, returning from Despondency which is great to see. It's nice to see Jack Vickers take on the protagonist for once, it's nice and refreshing. The music used is pretty good and compliments the fight scene and the credits. The story they're trying to tell work better as a 5-10 minute short film not 2 minutes.
The plot twist wasn't the finest but this is a Budget Productions short film so it's somewhat decent. It's on the same level as Wanted. Not amazing but good enough to be talked about for a while and a sequel might be on the way.

This and wanted share the same quality of short film. Both were surprise releases and the world wouldn't be a better place if they didn't exist. The Hood is stupid yet almost great. Comparing it ti other Budget Productions work it's better than the original Virgin Wars duology and is on the same level as Wanted. But this lacks compare to the VW remakes and Despondency. I think it's time Budget Productions focus on releasing another big short film. A sequel to an existing short film wouldn't be a bad call. Virgin Wars 3 would be mental.
The Hood is fun yet has little flaws but ends up being a fun experience.

It's not the finest short film made by Budget Productions but that doesn't mean it's bad.
It's to a similar quality to 'Wanted' which came out only a month ago. It's the shortest short film made by Budget with a runtime of only 1 minute 20 seconds (not including credits) meaning the original Bounty Hunters is no longer the shortest they've made. The soundtrack used was good and the premise was interesting. This short film deserves a longer version as that'll really Make this one of the best. The end credit scene possibly teases that they're not done with this story and a sequel might be on the way at some point.

Budget Productions never fail to deliver some good entertainment, even if their short films aren't the finest. The Hood is another one of those short and sweet budget films that is just a good time. The characters have barely any development but that's to be expected with Budget Productions as the only short that's thought of doing that is still Despondency. It's nice to see the cast from Despondency return as they're the peak of this production studio. The plot twist was just stupid but it adds to the light hearted charm of the short film. Just please bring out Virgin Wars 3 and Despondency 2!
The Hood adds to the already strong lineups of short films by Budget Production although it's one of the weaker ones. It lacks compared to the Virgin Wars remakes, Despondency and Project Thorn but it's shares the same quality as Wanted and maybe Christ-Ian: The Unvirgining. It's not bad just funny enough to be good. It was a surprise release only being announced a couple of days ago so they had small time to make this, and this shows. I wouldn't mind if they keep on making these less than 4 minute short films but I think it's time for something big to come out. Maybe a bigger sequel to this as it was teased at the end. This hasn't aged particularly well... I cba to rewrite the whole
