I got a chance to watch all of the episodes the other day on there website, and I got to hand it to them on the production values. Pretty great special effects, costumes, props etc.......
But everything else is pretty much lacking something very important, heart. Acting is so and so, story is unoriginal, music is generic, cinematography is shotty, pacing is slow
now I am sure these folks put a lot of effort into this show, but the final outcome just fell a little flat.
They need more spark to their product. I know they can, because they obviously have a budget... but I get the impression they are spending more time/money on the visuals/props/effects then the actual story and characters...
However, it seems they are progressing slowly by each episode. So maybe in the next season, it will pick up some steam. The art of making a web series, is getting your audience to WANT to see the next episode.
anyway, I say a 5/10 is a worthy rating.
