Where did they find these terrible people? I'm about a third of the way through and I'm currently hoping they all get banished. If there's no one to root for, what's the point of hanging in here? This is actually worse than the American version, and that's unbelievable.
Maybe this version would have been renewed for another season if they'd picked better contestants and left off the reality show people...although, unlike the US, the Australian "realities" were more tolerable than the "real" people. I'm going to limit my Traitors time to the UK version from now own. At least those people had personalities...unless they load the next season with Love Islanders.

Absolutely in love with The Traitors (Australia). As a huge fan of The Mole, including the new reboot, one of the biggest feedback I had (along with many others) was that they wished The Mole also had stake in the game as well to make the game a bit more competitive. Here comes The Traitors, a new game that is slightly similar, but with a much better twist - the "traitors" are selected from the contestants pool (not a hired actor), and everyone has to compete to win the money. The social game is even more intense in this one, because you have to stay off everyone's radar so you don't look suspicious, AND the Traitors' radar so they don't 'murder' you for being a threat.
In this debut Australian version, I really liked their casting and Roger is great host as well. Each episode takes you on a wild ride where you don't know who's next.
I haven't seen confirmation for a season 2 yet, but in the finale they did mention see you next year. So I hope that's confirmation lol. Love this show!

From the first episode watching this after the US and UK versions, and for some reason this version ticks all the boxes. Suave and sophisticated host with excellent humour (I felt Claudia took it far too seriously), and the gold masks for the traitors was a great touch.
I thought it was hilarious seeing the traitors at the start of the UK one in the tower just holding their heads down pretending not to see each other, not even putting the hoods back up before the last one came in. I mean, really?
Also the contestants are allowed to drive. Which is apparently rare af.
Whole thing just felt more polished and professional than the others, and as much as I like Claudia, I felt she didn't really fit, and Alan, while a legend, didn't seem right either. Rodger, even though I had no idea who he was, just seemed so natural and effortless in his role.
I really need a season two.

I discovered this recently. Binged watch the french canadian version AND the UK version. I have nothing but love for the show. I just watched the australian version and it was okay, but nothing more than that. Not a fan of Rodger, he wasn't bad by any mean, just didn't love him. There was several moments where i found he was talking to much before round tables, almost giving hints as who was/were the traitors. Find it way easier for traitors in this version compare to the previous one I've watched. All and all it was far from bad, but some details here and there that, if I were them, I would've stick to the original version. 6/10.
I love Traitors, I've watched Traitors US, Traitors UK, and then started watching Traitors AU. Season 1 of AU wasn't bad, I really liked that the shield protected them from banishment and murder, thought that made a lot of sense, and really made it worthwhile for traitors and faithful. Season 2 AU, they took that away, so the shield only protected you from murder just like the other versions.
My main problem with season 2 though is the people... These are some of the dumbest people I've ever seen. I've never wanted to throw the remote at the TV more than watching them. They all deserve to lose, both faithfuls, and traitors. Just give the money to the host, Rodger, as a bonus for having to sit through their season.
Please use this season's footage if you've ever been incarcerated by these 2 former law enforcement officials. They're clearly terrible investigators, and any cases they've worked on should be thrown out the window. I can just imagine them being like, well we found this guy covered in blood holding the murder weapon at the scene, but he's the victims former lover, so we're convinced it was the 90 year old woman at the deli across the street, who has no connection to the victim whatsoever, because she didn't get off the toilet to answer the door when we came to question her. That makes her our prime suspect!
