Orhun Demirhanli goes to Africa to collect his sister Nihan. In the desert, he meets Hira, a young woman in distress.

Orhun Demirhanli brings Hira back to Istanbul and accommodates her in his second residence. Orhun's cousin Vedat gambling addiction threatens his mother Perihan and sister Eda's future.

Orhun gives Hira a job at the mansion despite his mother Afife opposition. Vedat's wrong doings with Orhun's business company leads to his dismissal.

After Vedat's assault, Perihan falsely accuses Hira of seduction to protect her family's interests. Hira accidentally wounds Orhun Demirhanli . Vedat's sister Eda is suspicious about Orhun's truthful motive for bringing Hira to Turkey.

Afife decides to throw Hira out of the Demirhanli mansion. Wandering the streets of Istanbul, Hira meets Meryem. At Meryem's house, Hira tells her of her childhood and adolescence in Africa.

Hira goes back to the Mansion to pay her debt. While at the cemetery, she makes a shocking encounter. Meryem's conversation with her mother brings back nostalgic memories. The police deliver news to her about her husband, Mr Engin Karci.

Orhun's father, Sait, asks Hira to meet secretly to explain his years-long absence. Eviction and debts force Meryem to return to her parents' house. Meryem's return upsets Kenan, her ex-fiancé, and his sister Vuslat.

Orhun Demirhanli surprises Hira and his father in the garden and he is utterly shocked to see that presumed dead Sait is alive. Overcome with emotion, Sait gets very sick and must be taken to hospital. Meryem and Kenan meet by accident for the first time since Meryem's return to the neighborhood and he refuses to listen or talk to her. Feriha advises Meryem to tell Kenan and everybody the true reason that led her to get married to another man while Kenan was in the army.

Sait Demirhanli's health condition worsens. His son, Orhun, suspects that his mother Afife is responsible for Sait's presumed death. Kenan still resents Meryem because she is not telling him why she left him and married another man. Meryem remembers how her father Rasit stole money from his employer and in order to avoid going to jail he arranged and forced Meryem to marry the owner of the factory he stole from.

Sait Demirhanli's dying declaration to Orhun reveals that when he had been slandered of infidelity with a maid, his spouse Afife and her family kept him away from his children's lives. Angered by his mother's lies, Orhun makes a spiteful decision that involves Hira. Meryem's father, Rasit, is released from prison and returns to the family home . His belittling behaviour towards his spouse, Asiye, and Meryem scares Nefes.

Orhun's decision to marry Hira infuriates his mother Afife. After Nefes' fall and head injury, Kenan drives Meryem and her daughter to the hospital.

Hira flees the Demirhanli mansion because she doesn't want to marry Orhun. But Orhun finds her in the woods and punishes for her escape. Eda confesses her love for Orhun Demirhanli to her mother, Perihan, and she is devastated to learn of Orhun's wedding plans. Nefes' stay in the hospital brings Kenan closer to Meryem.

Further to Hira's vision of deceased Nihan Demirhanli asking her to heal her brother Orhun, Hira agrees to the wedding. Hira gets moved in the mansion from the maid's quarter to a guest room . Orhun takes Hira to a boutique to buy her an adequate wardrobe and an engagement party dress. Meryem lost her first job in the neighborhood due to Nefes' 24hours hospitalization. But her father Rasit, always insisting that Meryem provides for the family livelihood, finds her a job as a kitchen dishwasher in a tavern.

The anonymous bride, Hira, arouses the curiosity of tabloids, following Eda's leak of Orhun Demirhanli's impending wedding. Afife Demirhanli, Orhun's mother, offers Hira to move to a foreign country to prevent her son's wedding. Kenan Çevik helps Meryem anonymously as she tries to overcome the financial problems that beset her.

Orhun gives Hira a file she must memorize to answer any possible questions guests may have during their engagement party about their love relationship. Moments after the engagement ceremony, an uninvited guest will shake the foundations of the Demirhanli mansion. Meryem's father, Rasit, is back to his old thieving habits at the tavern where Meryem works.

Police arrest Vedat for attempted murder of Orhun. Critically injured Hira is hospitalized. Kenan represents Meryem, accused of theft. Her father Rasit refuses responsibility.

Hira recovers from her injury. Eda fears losing Orhun's love due to her brother Vedat's criminal actions. Kenan persuades the tavern owner to drop charges against Meryem, leading to her release.

Upon her release from the hospital, Orhun takes Hira to the cottage for her convalescence. After Meryem's arrest on charges of thievery, her daughter Nefes is bullied by the children of the neighborhood.

Orhun and Hira are asked to testify at the police station about the shooting. Due to Vedat's accusation against Orhun, Hira is asked if she is being unlawfully restrained. Meryem, out of pride, quits a job that Kenan got her as a cook.

Vedat's plan fails when Hira denies being held illegally. Orhun's mother cancels his wedding, and Feriha updates Kenan about Vuslat's harassment of Meryem. Meanwhile, Mr. Kaleli offers Meryem a job at his company.

Although Eda warned her, Afife Demirhanli is late in preventing her son Orhun from marrying Hira. Kenan saves Meryem from Kaleli's sexual assault attempt.

After Mr. Kaleli's assault, Kenan offers Meryem a job as an assistant, but she refuses out of pride. Due to his mother's health, Orhun decides to return to the family mansion with Hira. Nursah doubts Orhun and Hira's relationship, as she does not perceive them as a happy newlywed couple.

Due to her worsening health condition, Afife Demirhanli is hospitalized. Kenan's office is shot at, and all suspicions fall on Kaleli as the instigator. Vuslat holds Meryem responsible for her brother's problems.

Orhun hosts a party at the mansion to introduce his wife Hira to society. Meanwhile, Kaleli kidnaps Meryem to force Kenan to withdraw the police complaint against him.

With the help of his private security chief, Yavuz, Orhun frantically tries to locate where Haluk is keeping his sister, Nursah, hostage. Upon discovery of Perihan and Eda's difficult living conditions, Afife Demirhanli invites them to stay at the Demirhanli mansion. Meanwhile, on Kaleli's orders, an inmate makes an attempt on Kenan's life.
