No depth to each persona

As a big fan of Joe Marler who, along with many of the other contestants, was actually fabulous, we were looking forward to watching this show, but it felt hastily put together, and the show host - Lorraine Kelly - sorry, truly awful. Reading a script - no authenticity at all. Wish we'd got a sense of the fun as well as the trials and tribulations that must have been had between the contestants and their mentors - should have been a 5 part series rather than a one-off episode. Why did they even bother with this 'special'? Over too soon. Disappointed in the extreme. Guest judges didn't bring much extra to the party. (Sorry MelC - we love you / you should have been main host!!!!!)
