    Cats And Dogs

Pepper the Pup courts the feline milk maid, and rescues her from the evil cat who kidnaps her in this stop-motion movie.

In plot it looks pretty much like a late-1920s Paul Terry cartoon. The fun in it is attributable to its being a stop-motion movie, with amusing pipe-cleaner character design. The soundtrack is what would be called synchronized in regular cartoons: no dialogue, but music that matches the movements eked out with sound effects.

Director John Burton was a member of the short-lived Kinex Studio, which specialized in stop-motion animation. It had fallen apart shortly before this, and this was released under the aegis of Kodak for their home-viewing library.
