Vancouver is Dying

As a 20+ year resident of Vancouver and area, i witnessed this decline first hand. Proud areas of the city, reduced to battlegrounds as neighbours.defend their homes and properties against the homeless and drug addicted hoards. I've seen houses broken into and stripped in hours the copper pipes and wire. Yard stripped of fruit and flowers. Vehicles broken into in broad daylight as people walk past, too afraid to speak up. Mayor Larry Campbell started Vancouver down this road, and successive mayors have continued paving the road with their woke intentions. "Vancouver is Dying" is an unblinking look at what one of Canada's best cities has become, an unaffordable butvat the same time unlivable haven for violent offenders, druggies and criminals.

This documentary touches on many aspects of the failed political policies being enacted at home and abroad by an unreasonable and damaging ideology sweeping throughout western civilization.

The work done by Aaron and his team is an integral part of our political discourse which offers the ground truth to the plethora of failed solutions purposed by former, current, and aspiring government officials. The onsite interviews of addicts coupled with testimonials from law enforcement and health care professionals signals that there is a significant need to re-evaluate our approach towards this ever increasing problem in society.

Highly recommended to watch, learn, and act.

Please continue to expose conditions needing reform and change. I can't wait for a Vancouver is dying 2.0 showing how various other places on Earth have tackled these problems and have won. Instead of free drugs, free cell phones, free places to live and no mental illness support - we need solutions that work. Clearly the existing attempts are not working.

I love Aaron's common sense approach to help expose problems we are facing as a society, and in the political messy world. We definitely need more common sense approaches to provide solutions to get back to the type of place we all used to be proud to live in. I wish it were mandatory for policy makers to watch this documentary as well as Seattle is Dying and the fight for the Soul of Seattle. All similar problems - we should be learning from one another and not repeating mistakes, wasting money on efforts that don't work - instead follow areas who are getting resolutions.

Finally a documentary which has highlighted decades of bad policy by apparent erudite members of our government. They have been swayed by a dogma that is nothing more than a religion, and thus one cannot reason with them. The end result is sheer misery for those who have become addicted. Our cities have become shells of what they once were. The decline will continue and the time is now to force our elected officials to change the dialogue from safe supply to a recovery based model; San Patrignano, Alberta, Netherlands, Germany, Austria and the country that started the of the recovery based model, Portugal.

This is an incredibly insightful look into how unrealistic govt can be There are other models worldwide to learn from and they do not include giving persons more drugs to solve the problem Excellent line up of persons giving honest and helpful ways to improve the cities situation.

Everyone needs to view this to learn how far fetched the status quo manner of dealing with addiction is not helpful for those in the situation.

When we support with rehab those who have come thru the addiction process will be able to live lives that ate back on track Not happy to hear what a lead professional had to say about the situation.
