RIDE: A Brutal Fairytale

This is the most impressive documentary I have ever watched, and I do remember that time when the tragic news was broadcast on tv about Sam Willoughby's accident.

This is and was a tragic tale of total commitment to a sport that was taken away so abruptly, especially after such a long and arduous journey to get where he was.

Sam, you are a true hero and a living legend, not only to the BMX racing sport, but also to the total inspiring effort and commitment you continue to give to never giving up!

Everyone has their ups and downs in life, that is why we are human, and you had your fair share as well, but to inspire yourself and get those wheels turning again after the accident, is a fantastic effort and so deserving.

I am totally blown away by your attitude and how you have grown both physically and mentally, and how now, you are inspiring so many individuals in all areas of sports and lifestyles, both young and old, and not only from people who may feel that they have a disadvantage in life!

I am also impressed with Alise, who was your backbone from beginning to end, who gave you the love and support from the moment you met, right through to this very day and never gave up.

Alise was and is still a great athlete. She has had a fantastic career, and has also had total commitment to her time in BMX racing. Both of you were meant for each other, and everyone could see the love and addiction to help and support each other throughout your careers.

The same also goes to your families and close friends who stood by you and Alise through thick and thin, and truly supported every single thing you both had done, right through to this very day!

I thoroughly enjoyed this Doco, and wish all of you the very best and happiness, which you truly deserve and have earned!! Thankyou!
