Jenny and the other match girls carry on with there everyday lives in the factory. But with Alice struggling from Phossy, Molly keeping secret ,and Susan taking a shine, how does all this affect and create the Jenny Flint of Paternoster Row we all know.

Jenny is out to find herself a husband. But events take a turn after her and Susan drink one night. Mr B is back at the factory and Alices phossy jaw has gotten so bad she has isolated herself from the other match girls. Just when things start looking up for Jenny the sudden reality of things comes crashing down.

After the disaster of our last episode, Jenny finds herself in hospital. Molly struggles with the event unfolding around her. And Susan glimpse's something she never knew was there in Sam. Jenny tries to start afresh by giving herself the name we all know her by of Flint.

With the Doctor helping Jenny through the fog to typhoid what does the future have in store for miss flint? But is it the future? Vastra keep speaking to Jenny and all the events throughout her life are being jumbled. What is going on?

Jenny ends up on the wrong side of the law. But things are starting to get confusing for Jenny. Shes struggling to concentrate. All her thoughts don't seem to be making sense.

Vastra tells her tale. Of an ape she found being attacked. Little did they know that taking her back to Paternoster would change both their lives for the better.
