Óscar Barberán, Ana Esther Alborg, Eleanor Tomlinson, Joe Thomas, Santiago Winder, and Jaume Solà in Mummies (2023)

Goofs

Mummies

Edit

Continuity

When they pull up to the theatre once arriving in London, the yellow hatch markings change to a clear road and a double yellow line and then back to the hatched markings.

Miscellaneous

A young Egyptian character is shown using a boomerang. Ancient Egyptians did not have boomerangs, a hunting tool of Australian aboriginal peoples.
After they leave the ship in the container port, there is a container with a Union Flag on it. The flag is upside down.
When they are first in London there is a pavement entrance to the Underground. The left part of the sign says 'Line 19' (I think it was 19). Lines in London are named and do not have numbers.

Plot holes

Everyone in the mummy afterlife appears to be related within the usual number of generations resulting from the human lifespan despite supposedly being immortal. If everyone in the afterlife was immortal, many dozens of generations would be present.

Character error

Thut signs his name in Roman characters, despite the papyrus being written in hieroglyphics.
