Horror House (2012)

Trivia

Horror House

Edit
Savanna Gann's debut.
Director Evan Marlowe wanted to depict in each short how their lives were being turned upside down. To illustrate this, he literally showed them upside down. In "Never Let Go" Sarah's photo is upside down on the front door. In "Be Careful What You Wish For," the image is inverted in the crystal ball. In "Hot Stuff" Andy's reflection appears upside down in the vanity mirror. In "Lifelike" Helen is lying in bed and on the sofa head down. And in "The Leapling" Ben's reading his storybook, also head down.
Each of the five short stories is connected. The girl seen in the photo in the Gypsy's reading room is Jessica, who appears in "Hot Stuff." The finger marks left on the door in "Hot Stuff" are seen again in "The Leapling." The man at the fridge in "Lifelike" is one of the patrons in the bar during "Hot Stuff." The logo, seen on the business card in "Never Let Go, " reappears in "Be Careful What You Wish For."
