The series was never intended for children, but has a large child fan following.
Iabou Windimere performed the role of the Bag Pirate wearing yellow Bikini bottoms. Iabou only had costume pieces for the top half since she never planned to show her bottom half on camera. Thus she ad libbed the line "Me Bottom be Bare" which was included in the series.
