The bank robbery scene was inspired from Cristopher Nolan's 'The Dark Knight'. The dialouge in the scene "I kill the crane driver" also refers to joker saying "I kill the bus driver".
This movie was dubbed in Malayalam as 'Gajapokkiri' and was released on 17 August 2012. It was also dubbed in Hindi as 'Dangerous Khiladi'.
This action thriller was remade into Tamil titled as 'Saahasam', which was also well received by audiences and met expectations at the box office.
