The main character of the melodramatic series "Shadow of a Star (Reflection of a Star)" is an ordinary girl Renata Martin, who simply loved to sing. She was made a pop diva by her wealthy mother and stepfather. Renata, in her thirties, suddenly begins to think that her life does not belong to her. All due to the fact that the mother and stepfather are sure that Renata is obliged to thank them for the rest of her life. The arrival in the city of Renata's sister, Nastya, does not make the situation easier - the youngest daughter, whose mother stole a man, is not the best psychological support. The main character understands that she is a cash cow for all her relatives.
