Pan Yueming first joined the Candle in the Tomb franchise as the main protagonist Chen Yulou in Candle in the Tomb: The Wrath of Time.
It made a surprise premiere a day before the scheduled release date on September 21.
The trio of Pan Yueming, Kitty Zhang and Jiang Chao play their roles for the third time after The Lost Caverns and The Worm Valley.
