If you're looking for a simple ride that takes you back to a simpler time to make you feel good to your core this is your movie. This has everything that made 80's action/sci-fi movies great. Cheesy one liners, action, suspense and predictable vengeance that makes you feel like you're part of the adventure. Michael Rock does a great job bringing the character Ghost to life on screen and has an "Arnold" type presence. Fun, entertaining and very self aware of what it is. A low budget, passion project, masterpiece that should be seen by all to experience the 👍🏻 (IYKYK). Dillon Brown poured his heart and soul into this movie and it shows.
I came across the trailer to Dillon Brown's found footage horror film posted in a facebook horror group and I was immediately hooked by it's premise.
Dillon effortlessly combines modern military action packed film genres with old school 80s horror ( eg. Dario Argento's Demons) and presents it as a POV found footage film.
All of the character arcs feel well earned, and Dillon even managed to give a character who doesn't talk (the cameraman) probably the most depth of them all.
It's hard to really pinpoint exactly what makes this film so special, there are so many extremely brilliant ideas presented so confidently, and it wears it's influences with pride, knowing exactly what the film and story sets out to be and ticks all the boxes, and then some, along the way.
This was my first venture into Dillon's films, and I look forward to exploring his back catalogue of films and am extremely excited for the future of his filmmaking career, He's really one to keep a very close eye on.
I went into this film expecting a found footage horror film with an interesting premise, and left the film feeling like I had kinda been on a journey with these characters, I appreciate that Dillon really took the time to actually develop these characters and flesh them out so they are not soi much cardboard cut out cliches you would expect to find in some action films.
Dillon blended the horror, the action and the fun expertly and effortlessly.
In terms of this being an independent film, and considering how much Dillon managed to accomplish without a huge budget, yet providing a believable and thoroughly enjoyable experience and characters, I give this a solid 10 out of 10.
I highly recommend this to people who think this could be something that would appeal to them.

A really fun throwback to 80s/90s action with a touch of horror. Church mercenary Ghost and his partner Eve (and the ever silent Monk) face off against a demonic cult trying to bring a demon into our world. There's a real "video game" feel to this as the action unfolds. Decent practical effects and realistic gun handling ( veterans and serving personnel amongst the cast) make this a fun watch. The final half hour gave me real silent hill/resident evil vibes. All in all this is a really cool movie that doesn't take itself too seriously, takes you back to when heroes were macho and villains were evil. Look out for references to Dillon's other movies.
Movie mixes modern day film making with the 80s style horror pov. Actors did a great job and the story line was easy to follow. Once you start the movie it's hard to turn off. Dillon is an amazing director and hope to see lots more from him. This movie does mix the cult world with horror and military style action. For the low budget they had they did an amazing job.
The locations they chose worked great for the movie. You can tell they worked for what they needed for the movie.
Dillon did an amazing job with this for the budget. Hope to see lots more work out of him. Keep up with the films!! You're doing great!

What a fun ride the entire way through!
Pacing is great, action is packed, and the cast is spot on. You can tell that the director and cast and crew had lots of fun making it and put their hearts into it- creating an awesome final product.
I'm a huge fan of found footage, and this movie was just so unique I was genuinely blown away. The locations chosen for filming were so cool, and it was refreshing to see the cast handle their weapons properly when using them. (A mistake that Hollywood always seems to make!)
I can't wait to see what else Dillon has in store, and I hope we get more lore for Ghost.
