A series that will leave you breathless. The acting is excellent, and the script is exceptionally well-constructed. The episodes are engaging, with perfectly crafted endings that seamlessly pull you into the next one. It's a perfectly balanced mini-series, not overly extended, with each episode filled with meaningful content. Unnecessary events don't waste your time. Instead, it leaves questions in your mind, constantly encouraging you to think and solve the unfolding events. I was very surprised when I read the negative comments. I feel the exact opposite about this series. Thank you, Payen Kuern, for your contributions.
Talented cast undermined by weak script and predictable plotlines
Unfortunately, despite a talented cast and promising potential, this show fails to deliver on nearly every level except the acting. The performances are commendable, but the overall experience is let down by a lackluster script, derivative storytelling, and a disappointing absence of suspense or intrigue.
The actors deliver their roles with conviction, showing depth, charisma, and a clear effort to elevate the material they've been given.
The script feels like a patchwork of clichés borrowed from countless series and movies, offering nothing original or refreshing.
One of the most frustrating aspects of this series is the absence of any real tension or climax. The cases, which should be the backbone of the show, are resolved with such ease and predictability that there's no sense of mystery or anticipation. Instead of drawing viewers into the narrative and making them eager to see what happens next, the series settles for quick, overly simple resolutions that rob the audience of any curiosity.

Well series started good. Really while series is starting I said I hope this series gonna be good and gonna be action. But by the time series is continuing I don't understood because It is going faster to topic And I said omg what is going on How does he in there and I don't like the end thing about that if how does it end a ordinary series also this series was like that so it is end ordinary. I would something happen in the end. In my opinion is such as ordinary While I watch the series I said I don't want watch anymore. I do not recommend. Events that happened such as interesting in series.but as I said I liked to head.
The show certainly can pump out the drama. The music especially: it just hits in a way, that you expect there is something wild going on. Some operator work also tries to add to the atmosphere, but... In the end it feels like those old TV novellas I saw as a kid, I think they were advertised as Brazilian, but not sure if all of them were.
The plot is extremely simplistic. Think low budget "Mafia: The City Of Lost Heaven". And with very little logic. I mean, if you look at the story as a whole - yes, there is some level of logic to it. The kind that you see in Hallmark Christmas (or generally "romantic") movies. They do even suggest some "paranormal" at some point. Or at least there is a bit that may be interpreted as such.
The main problem is that this should have been a movie. I see potential, especially, since the 1st episode started with comments about bad phone battery, and they tried to utilize those comments only in the last episode, where it did kind of work. Not ideal, but still.
If they went with approach similar to Statham's "Crank" from 2006 but more emotional, or recent "Mercy Road" but with more people - it could have been great. They do have fast dynamics after all, it's just that all the unnecessary and stupid fluff (which is "talked about", not so much "shown") just ruins it.
But we have what we have, and as is... It's not good. Soundtrack is still the best thing about it, and perhaps they should release is as a digital album.

ASAF is a very good 6 episode series with a gripping plot and excellent acting. The atmosphere is built very well. The omnipotent Payen Kuyern organization has arms that can reach everyone and everywhere. We feel Asaf's suffocation at first and his gradual change to comply with the power game.
All the actors are good but Cihangir Ceyhan stands out as ASAF. Burçin Terzioglu as Asaf's wife, Saadet Isil Aksoy as the journalist, Ahmet Rifat Sungar and Fatih Al as detectives all give excellent performances. Even the two children play their parts well.
I really don't understand why people wrote that Tayanc Ayaydin played Asaf. Although a very good actor himself, Tayanc Ayaydin has a small part as Asaf's brother in this series.
Many members of the cast are missing in the IMDb cast section of this series.
