Courageous authentic women sharing dark chapters of life

This movie is a powerful demonstration of the courage to face the consequences of sexual abuse as a child. The format of using boxing and journaling with a shared bond is a beautiful expression of humanity at its best. Healing deep pains from vulnerability takes character and the eight women in this documentary are outstanding examples of what is possible.

The setting is a boxing gym with a shared story and the establishment of an outlet for anger to be expressed through a boxing bag.

The reflections from the shared journals and poems are beautiful.

Enjoyed this documentary for its unique perspective that deals with a subject that is seldom shared.
