    What was that?

For me this show has been slowly going downhill for the last couple of seasons but this episode just felt out of place. Every character from Beth to Travis to even Rip felt completely different. Beth going down to Texas for a pool party and being completely ok with stripping down to save the ranch? She would've punched Travis for even thinking that were an option. Rip being cool with the idea of Beth doing all of this all because Travis helped him in a bar fight? Travis being some degenerate party boy where every other scene we've ever seen him in he comes off as a laid back cowboy who just loves the life? All of this just seemed so out of place and had nothing to do with the overarching plot.

    The Taylor ego fest

Clearly Taylor needed to boost his ego with this episode!

Such a waste of time. The finale better be good. This show has been so good to just ruin it for your own narcissism is just sad! Did he think that having Bella Hadid as his girlfriend would boost the show more? I have so many questions before the series is over that he could have tied up with this episode. It will be very interesting to see if he inserts himself into the final episode or if he lets the storyline play out and tie up all the loose ends. No turning back now, what's done is done. We can only hope that he satisfied his ego already.

    Oh dear

Yellowstone has been a TV highlight in our household. This episode, was NOT a highlight. It was short on plot development and felt like a filler.

The last few episodes have been long on cowboys at work and, apart from the odd drive by hit job, have been a little dull.

Can live with why the writer insists on showing off his riding skills every so often, but this episode went full Taylor Sheridan featurette. If I didn't know any better, I'd suggest his ego has got the better of him!

The show without Costner is lacking. Beth and Rip are good viewing but the other characters are less interesting and I'm unsure I'd bother with another season - if there is bing to be one.

    Sheridan took Yellowstone down

This season had some moments, but this episode wasn't one. This was pure egotistical Sheridan garbage. He knows that he is riding the cowboy/Montana wave, but he had managed to kill both. Him putting himself in the episode completely ruins the show and whatever storyline was left. Goodbye Yellowstone and I guarantee that I will not waste my time ever watching a show that has anything to do with Taylor Sheridan. His legacy now is that HE ruined a great show, not Kevin Costner. I need 130 more characters it seems. How many ways can I say that Taylor Sheridan let him being a ham, lead to the death of at one point, a great show.

    Wasting time inflating Taylor's ego

These last few episodes have really been a waste of valuable time. So much could have been done with the storyline that has been spent inflating Taylor's opinion of himself. There is nothing attractive about Travis's character, please stop trying so hard to convince me and all the other viewers that there is. The ball has really been dropped on such a great story in order to build up Taylor's next project. If this next project is going to be anything like this episode, I have no intention of watching. It would be nice to be able to get closure after five years of watching Yellowstone but sadly, I don't think that's going to happen.

When Travis is showing horses to the buyers, his double's face is clearly visible several time during the shots.

Kayce Dutton: Can I ask you a question? Business question?

      Beth Dutton: Sure.

Kayce Dutton: Let's take your car. How much is that worth?

Beth Dutton: Uh, it's leased, so it's not worth anything to me.

Kayce Dutton: But if you owned it?

      Beth Dutton: $300,000.

Kayce Dutton: And if you sold that to me for one dollar, would that be illegal?

Beth Dutton: It would be stupid, but it wouldn't be illegal.

Kayce Dutton: Okay. So I buy this car for one dollar. And then I take this $300,000 car that I bought for one dollar and I register it. What do I pay in sales tax? Is it based off what I paid or the value of the car?

Beth Dutton: What are you cooking?

Kayce Dutton: Just answer the question.

Beth Dutton: Tax is based on what you paid for it.

Kayce Dutton: [smiles cryptically] That's what I thought.
