Let me first just say that I hated the other episodes that were filmed using cellphone cams, dash cams and security cameras only, but I loved this one. A lot. Something about this episode felt different to those ones but also different to a regular episode (in a good way). This episode was so good that I - a Chenford stan from the first episode - didn't think that their scene was the best part of the episode. Don't get me wrong - it had me cheesing like a love-sick idiot, but the case of the week was so captivating that if that scene at the end wasn't there, the rating wouldn't have gone down for me.
Also, the fact that Celina is staying at Nolan and Bailey's house is a bit weird, but I think it was a necessary storyline for us to fall in love with her character. I'm really loving the Nolan-Juarez relationship. They work together exceptionally well.

Best parts of the episode?
- The case this week was captivating. From the reveal of the first bombing victim to the reveal that there was a second, to seeing everyone work on one case together (which doesn't happen too often), it was remarkable.
- The Chenford scene, of course. I wanted the Tim-Lucy tension to build more before they got together (maybe at the end of season 5) but I'm not going to complain at them getting together within the next few weeks. It was also beautifully filmed. After all of the dash cams, I almost forgot how much I love the usual visuals of The Rookie.
Worst part of the episode?
- I can't really think of a bad part of this episode. It was incredible.
I really enjoyed this episode a lot. I loved the split-screen work with the dash cams and body cams... they've used the technique before, of course, but in this episode it really feels super-kinetic and exciting! Whenever bombs are used in TV shows, it always adds to the tension, and the type of bomb/car chase scenario was very well done.
The director and editors of this should be applauded for a great hour of TV.
The cast, as usual, were top-notch. Happy that the Tim/Lucy arc is winding down (or heating up?). It's been a slow burn with these two, but it's been handled well so far, so let's see!

The case could have been solved from the start if they had just asked the lady who put the bomb around her neck. Instead they make irrelevant small talk and fail to ask a single pertinent question.
Then the next victim comes along and they don't ask him who put the bomb around his neck either. Completely unbelievable.
Honestly, what are these writers thinking?
One of the worst episodes yet.
And that ridiculous psychic woman is irritating as can be. Can't see anyone taking a liking to that character. I'm guessing in due time we will see some serial killer take care of her and become the new bad guy.

This is such a great episode. I love how this show keeps bringing great content
However, I detest the cop chest camera footage.
Some use of it is usable footage, but much f it La like bad "b role" footage. Like a kid in a skateboard made the show. The iphone screen view was ok. But way overused. This is what kept it from being a 10/10.
And I like how the show adds drama like my wife likes but in a way that doesn't make it a show from the CW, but has action for me to like without being so over the top that my wife doesn't want to watch.
I hope this show can maintain its chemistry and formulas that work
Just please drop the pop culture/social media gimmicks like cop chest camera and iPhone tweeting cameras.

The Celina Juarez character is getting annoying! While the overall writing is great, this character is an over-the-top example of a California girl who works with energy and spirits. I can't imagine an agency like LAPD would have her on the streets when the character's beliefs are now out a distraction on the job than a help. Even how fellow officers respond to her are a stretch.
I know that comedy is a part of this show and I sincerely appreciate that but the streets of LA are not a place where aromatherapy is an effective part of policing. Please mature this character fast. The actress is really good so I'd like to see her realize that her beliefs can be part of her but not something to use in policing unless she's dealing with like-minded people. The character needs to go home too. Her hanging out at Nolan's is getting old too.
