But actually, he has attempted to take the story further from where the first part ended. The role of Saheb and Biwi are played by Jimmy Shergill and Mahie Gill as was done in the first part too.
However, Irrfan Khan and Soha Ali Khan are the newest additions in the film. Talking about the characters, Tigmanshu says the characters are not totally cruel or bad but they are vicious and also dubious! Saheb has become more vicious as he has lost his legs and.

The Central Board of Film Certification (Cbfc) decided to give an ‘A’ certificate to item numbers, with the idea of not letting women be portrayed as merely objects on screen after the heated debates post the Delhi gang rape. This decision also means that the promos of these songs will not be aired at the prime time on television.
Initially, the Cbfc decided to give Priyanka Chopra’s song ‘Babli Badmaash’ in Shootout at Wadala the ‘A’ certificate, which surprised the industry. The certificate would not allow the song to be promoted on television at the prime time. Tanuj Garg from Balaji Motion Pictures said that they were informed about the certification after submitting it. “We were obviously taken by surprise and told the Cbfc that we were not aware about any such regulation. If we get to hear Lata Mangeshkar's evocative 'Lag Ja Gale Se' in the stunning sequel to Saheb Biwi Aur Gangster, it comes with a heavy price. And film producers are poised for a battle with the music company that owns the copyrights of over 95 percent of the vintage film songs. Getting copyrights of classic film songs for peanuts is a thing of the past. Nowadays producers have to shell out small and large fortunes to get the song of their choice from. Recently, Apoorva Lakhia abandoned plans to use the celebrated Manna Dey qawwalli 'Yaari Hai Imaan Mera' filmed on Pran from the original Zanjeer for the remake and instead decided to record a fresh number to be shot on Sanjay Dutt who takes over Pran's number. The reason given for this was the exorbitant price that the music company Saregama-hmv expected in return for the song's copyright.

Khan who has earlier worked with Tigmanshu on films like Charas, Paan Singh Tomar and more recently Saheb Biwi Aur Gangster Returns, opted out of the film as his dates were clashing with an international project he had already committed to. Apparently, the Lucknow schedule of the film first got delayed due to the post-production of Saheb Biwi Aur Gangster Returns. Later, Tigmanshu got busy promoting the sequel. Now when the unit is finally headed to Lucknow for the shoot, Irrfan found his dates clashing with the international project he had already signed. This Friday will see the release of Subhash Kapoor’s Saare Jahaan Se Mehnga … and Tigmanshu Dhulia’s Saheb Biwi Aur Gangster Returns. Given the topical theme of Saare Jahaan Se Mehnga … and the success of the first part of Dhulia’s Saheb Biwi Aur Gangster, it promises to be an interesting battle at the box-office, but the more saleable stars of Sbagr may just tip the balance in its favour. There is a third film listed for release (though still unconfirmed), and that is Sofia Hayat’s Nachle London. Read More...

"I get to do most of the action in.

Film: "Saheb Biwi Aur Gangster Returns"; Cast: Irrfan, Mahie Gill, Jimmy Sheirgill, Soha Ali Khan and Raj Babbar; Director: Tigmanshu Dhulia; Rating: **** - vivid, vibrant, savagely tragic with gutsy performances.
In what could be regarded as a sequence of subliminal comic relief, a little-known actor Rajeev Gupta gives this film, suffused in powerhouse performances, its best performance as a slimy politician caught watching porn on his laptop in his office by a goon masquerading as a journalist.
The sequence is hilarious and at the same time sobering. While the self-important buffoonish politician's predicament raises laughter,.

New Delhi, March 5: The films releasing this Friday -- "Saheb Biwi Aur Gangster Returns" and "Saare Jahaan Se Mehnga" -- will bring different flavours at the box office. If "Saheb Biwi..." is a thriller-drama, "Saare Jahaan..." is a satirical take on inflation.
Directed by Tigmanshu Dhulia, "Saheb Biwi..." is the sequel to 2011 film "Saheb Biwi Aur Gangster", which was appreciated for its intense script, narration and performances.
The part two takes the story forward from where it was left in the original, which revolved around three characters entangled in a relationship that culminates in tragedy killing Randeep Hooda's character,.

Director Tigmanshu Dhulia said at the event that he chose Soha to play a princess in his film as she looked every inch the royalty in royal finery.
To this, the sharp-tongued Soha retorted: "Oh yes, I even sleep in royal clothes."
Explaining her snappy response, Soha said: "It is true. When I was asked if I was comfortable playing my character because.

Mughda Godse will be seen in an item number for the first time in Tigmanshu Dhulia’s Saheb Biwi Aur Gangster Returns. The actress who has no other films in her kitty now says she was looking forward to work with Tigmanshu Dhulia for sometime now.
The item song is a satire on Indian royalty. The song, composed by Sandeep Chowta and sung by Paroma Dasgupta, exposes the dark side and hidden agendas of influential people. An excited Mughda says, “I was chilling in Goa when Tigmanshu called and offered me the song. I said yes immediately as it was quite wacky and a mad number.”
The lyrics of the song have also got a quirky touch. “Media se keh du kya re main khule aam re, haye ke balma bandh kamre mein rajneeti kare.” See what we mean! Like the song, Mughda says that the shoot in Delhi turned...

Promo of Saheb Biwi Aur Gangster Returns has thrown an expectedly good response and managed to excite audience. Jimmy Shergill who was the Saheb in Saheb Biwi Aur Gangster will be seen reprising his role again in the sequel to the film Saheb Biwi Aur Gangster Returns. This time however Jimmy has more challenging role to perform.
Having received a lot of appreciation for his role in the earlier film Jimmy has gone through great lengths to put in his best performance in the film. While Saheb Biwi Aur Gangster had Randeep Hooda opposite Jimmy this time he will be facing Irrfan Khan in the film. Sadly Jimmy was indisposed during the shoot of the film but managed to complete the shoot and he is looking forward to the release now.
The film directed by Tigmanshu Dhulia also stars Mahie Gill and Soha Ali Khan in the lead.

Mahie Gill surely is a favourite of Tigmanshu Dhulia. The actress has been a part of Dhulia's films like Saheb Biwi Aur Gangster, Paan Singh Tomar and even the forthcoming Saheb Biwi Aur Gangster Returns. Little wonder then that when Dhulia needed an actress for an item song in his film Bullet Raja, he zeroed in on Mahie. Mahie has already shot for her item number in the film that stars Saif Ali Khan and Sonakshi Sinha.

Tigmanshu Dhulia, the screen play writer for Dil Se, is encouraging the use of Urdu in dialogues. Dhulia feels that film dialogues are just not getting to the heart of emotion anymore.
He recently told the Times of India, “…Today, there is so much use of English language in films… (it seems) the writer doesn’t know how to write, also emotion does not come out in English dialogues,”
Dhulia is leading by example. His film Saheb Biwi Aur Gangster is critically acclaimed with immaculate dialogue and narration. He is still setting the scene by giving importance to dialogues with his next film, Saheb Biwi Aur Gangster Returns which is due for release on March the 8th. According to Toi, not only will we see Jimmy Shergill and Mahie Gill from Saheb Biwi Aur Gangster, but Irrfan Khan and Soha Ali Khan too.
