The Race of Life (2012)

Trivia

The Race of Life

Edit
Pierre-Andre Sigouin, the actor who plays in the Spartan Condoms commercial at the beginning of The Race of Life, was coincidentally also the body double for Gerard Butler's Leonidas, the king of the Spartans, in the blockbuster movie 300.
The actress who was originally cast in the role of "jogging wife" unfortunately suffered a concussion the night before the shoot. Obviously, she could not jog in her state, so a last-minute replacement had to be found, and Make-up Artist Tammy-Lou Pate bravely volunteered to take her place and jog in the cold, with her ''husband'' actor Winston Wood, screaming at her through a megaphone. And despite Tammy-Lou's lack of acting experience and preparation, it ended up being one of the funniest scenes in the movie.
The scene in which two priests and a nun watch the show crouched in front of their little TV was shot in the oldest church in Montreal, Eglise de la Visitation.
