A nice film with a good message. It was engaging throughout and overall a good one-time watchable flick.
The film had a good story but the screenplay was not that perfect. It was engaging, but towards the end the flow was cut-short due to the slopiness of the screenplay. I'm not sure, but perhaps the audience in me was hoping for a stronger storyline towards the end. That was the only dissapointing part for me.
All the lead characters have performed well in their respective roles. The production design deserves applause and the locations were apt for the storyline. The film could have been more engaging and there was room for that. Anyway a good attempt.

Sajini Shinde Ka Viral Video is a social suspense thriller which revolves around the disappearance of Sajini Shinde (Radhika Madan) after an incident.
Nimrit Kaur who is portraying a role of a cop Bela Barot investigates her disappearance and reveals the truth. In her quest the movie comments on some socially relevant issues related to women in our society.
Radhika Madan, Nimrit Kaur, Bhagyashree, Soham Majumdaar,Sumit Vyas, Chinmay Mandelakr,Subodh Bhave, etc all have did justice to their roles. Director Mikhil Musale keep the audience hooked with fast paced narrative silently commenting on the set rules for women.

I did not like the police doing a morality check on each and every character. Neither did I really like the one-faced nature of most people in this movie.
But the cast did a good job in communicating the personality behind their characters very effectively. The storyline was crisp and not much time was wasted on unnecessary drama.
The end scenes could have been much more punchy but felt slightly more on the preachier/ unrealistic side. For one, I wouldn't expect criminals (hardened or accidental) to accept their guilt so easily. The police explaining how they identified the crime back to the criminal, just for dramatic effect, has to change!
The message and the intent of this movie is noteworthy. Where do we draw the lines when it comes to stereotyping respectable positions? Everyone should be allowed a chance to redeem themselves. It may play a prominent role in our lives, but an outdated "societal respect system" should not become a bar in deciding whether one lives or dies!

The storyline is straightforward but the storytelling is the real winner here. Performances are top quality and the screenplay makes it look like every character is a villain from a women's perspective. The movie reaches a point where the complexity is married with many social messagings engages the audience.
The ending itself was not very surprising but in this era of loud and over the top cinema this is a breath of fresh air.
Mighty Marathi actors, Nimrat, Bhagyashree don't let you look away from the screen a lot. Background score is haunting and since it's a Netflix movie the production quality is top notch with amazing cinematography.

*Sajini Shinde Ka Viral Video*
Just completed watching this Film on Netflix.
The story revolves around *Sajini Shinde (Radhika Madan), a physics teacher* whose party video goes viral, causing embarrassment to her colleagues, friends and relatives.
As a teacher, Sajini was expected not to have a life beyond the classroom. And if she did, her actions would be investigate by moral policing, and she will become a victim of slut-shaming.
A life of a brilliant teacher was lost just because of a viral video where she was seen dancing and celebrating her birthday.
*Today's youth has accepted social media as their life.* Often we keep facing news like someone's video going viral or MMS getting leaked. The story of 'Sajni Shinde Ka Viral Video' also talks about a girl whose MMS has been leaked.
All Sajini needed was a support system, but unfortunately, she had no one. Coming from a reputed family, her world crashed when the video went viral. Everyone around her blamed her and questioned her integrity, and she was left to believe that she did not deserve to continue living her life.
This film reminded a similar incident of August 2022, a professor from the prestigious St. Xavier's College was forced to resign over bikini pictures that were taken from her private social media account and circulated within the student community. Instead of opening a dialogue with the students, the college decided her to moral policing.
This incident could have been an important lesson in the students' lives, but instead, what they learned was how easy it is to blame and shame women.
Sajini Shinde Ka Viral Video questions the hypocrisy of individuals who expect women to be a perfect blend of traditional and modern.
*An attempt has been made to convey a message through the film that suicide cannot be the solution to any problem, life is very beautiful.*
