War of the Ninja Monsters: Jaron vs Goura

I understand this is an independent film. I also understand that Shinpei Hiyashia is first & foremost a comedian, & not being Japanese myself, I don't get certain aspects of Japanese comedy. That said... I don't know what the point of this movie is, because the monsters are barely in it & do a whole lot of nothing when they are on screen. Based on the designs, it seems like this was originally intended as Hiyashia's take on a Godzilla v Gamera film. Well, this movie is NOT that. The monster scenes are basically wastes of time, standing around & simply exist to justify the title it seems, while most of the movie focuses on the absolutely weird & absolutely nonsensical "plot" about warring ninja clans. If the monster scenes were removed, the movie would essentially be unchanged. I understand this is a mega-low budget movie, but this feels REALLY lazy.
