Victoire

Affected by cancer, having short time to live, Victoire, wealthy creator of shoemaking business, goes, with her older son, in the house of her youth , where the first step of her career as shoes maker started.

Not exactly nostalgia is the cause of this return. But a secret who remains too heavy for her conscience. Beautiful for atmosphere and for performances and for fine portrait of a lost world with delicate air of cinnamon and feminism. Not remarkable film but, obvious, more than decent.
