Launching HARD KNOCK TV in 2005, Nick Huff Barili, a veteran in the entertainment industry, recognized the need for credible in-depth coverage of Hip Hop culture and the emergence of new media. In 2006 Hard Knock TV became the FIRST Hip Hop show to create original content for Youtube. Hard Knock TV's Youtube channel has over 100 million views and 170 thousand subscribers, featuring some of the most viewed video interviews for some of today's stars such as Pharrell, Outkast, Wu-Tang, Common, Public Enemy, Kendrick Lamar, J Cole, ASAP Rocky, Logic, Jessie Reyez, Childish Gambino, Saweetie and Cordae.

In 2019 Nick launched Hard Knock TV Latino to showcase in-depth conversations (in Spanish and English) with Latino talent including J Balvin, Nicky Jam, Residente, Nicki Nicole, C Tangana, Bizarrap, Sech, Snow Tha Product, Cypress Hill, Farina and many more.
