This Girlfriends Films series notably eschews story and acting, giving the fans, apparently the majority of current porn audiences, all-sex content. Volume 26 reduces the formula to a really stupid approach.

We have an off-screen interviewer, likely director B. Skow who in recent years has taken over helming the label's content from previous owner Dan O'Connell. Brief interviews feature dumb questions and a ridiculous gimmick of having each pair of actresses thumb through a softcover book of photos, taken from Girlfriends stills archive, to choose lesbian sexual positions for their scene together. Blue post-it notes speed up the process, making the 4 vignettes play like product placement advertising for the 3M Co.

Talent includes a couple of newbies: notably Corra Cox with a pixie haircut who informs in her interview that she's never had lesbian sex before, never even kissed a girl! Also on hand are two of the industry's best young actresses: Freya Parker and Theodora Day. Don't worry: the only acting they do here is fake moaning.

Fans get 3 hours of mechanical sex and 20 minutes of schmoozing. Hack director Skow stages it all with zero care: first two vignettes take place on bare beds in barely decorated bedrooms, while the maestro has two couches for the next 2 vignettes: one leather couch for the interview, then a grey cloth one for humping, both used over again for both scenes. You can imagine him yelling: "Next!" while watching this example of assembly-line filmmaking.
