The Kadic Academy scenes were filmed at Guez-de-Balzac High School in Angoulême, France. Kadic Academy in the animated series was based heavily on Lakanal High School in Sceaux, a southern suburb of Paris. The two schools are about 450 km (280 miles) apart.
