For Rebecca Davis, the scariest part about her granddaughter Madison being struck by lightning was the fact that Rebecca couldn't remember how to perform CPR. Davis and her granddaughter were about to get into her car in the town of Westport, Indiana, last week, when she heard a loud bang. "I mean, I thought it hit a metal building," she told Fox 59. "Then when I heard the big bang, I thought, 'No, this can't be.' And I ran around and she was just lying there." In a panic, Davis blanked on how to perform CPR. She called 911, and a...

You aren’t ready for Kung Fury. The world isn’t ready for Kung Fury. The yet-to-be-explored universes that exist all around us aren’t ready for Kung Fury.
Words can’t describe what in the hell filmmaker David Sandberg accomplished with his kung-fu-nazi-fighting-time-traveling epic short film, and I couldn’t hack into the future to discover what new phrases we eventually create to praise such 80s action lunacy, but I’m going to give it a whirl in an unconventional method. Below are the notes I took while Kung Fury was karate-chopping his way through street thugs and angry machines, and instead of turning them into coherent paragraphs and into a formal review, I’m just going to comment on the perfect journey that took place.
But before that, let me actually do my film critic thing and offer my opinion on Kung Fury, which will undoubtedly go down...

If you like your romantic comedies with a good dose of black humor, then you should check out Hit by Lightning. It stars Jon Cryer as Ricky Miller, a 40-year old aspiring writer whose survival job is being a manager at Debbie’s Restaurant. He’s also a bit lonely as he’s never had much luck with women.
That all changes though when he creates an online dating profile and soon meets Danita (Stephanie Szostak), whom he is convinced is the love of his life. Things take a sudden turn, however, when Danita reveals to Ricky that she is actually married to a successful crime novelist and asks Ricky to murder him so that they can be together.
Despite Ricky’s skepticism, he agrees. But it isn’t long before he starts to wonder if Danita is telling the truth, or if there’s something else going on that she’s hiding from him.

The Two and a Half Men star stopped by Et to discuss his TV nuptials and upcoming film.
In eleven seasons on the air, hit sitcom Two and a Half Men has featured its share of romances and weddings. But the show's season premiere featured a liplock most fans didn’t see coming.
"He’s a good kisser," said Men star Jon Cryer of his co-star Ashton Kutcher. To kick off the twelfth and final season of the show, Cryer and Kutcher’s characters get legally married so Kutcher can adopt a child, and the two share a kiss to seal the deal. "I can see what Mila sees in him."

Chances are you didn.t really notice when the poster for Hit By Lightning was originally released. Why would you? Jon Cryer, Stephanie Szostak and Will Sasso.s dark comedy hardly looks like it is about to set the cinematic world alight. Here's what the original poster looks like... But now Sasso, who is probably mostly known for his turn as Curly in the Farrelly Brothers. The Tree Stooges, has rejigged the awkward looking poster to make it umpteen times more hilarious, and in doing so he.s probably convinced a few people to actually watch the movie. Check out the Tweet he posted, which includes his new and improved version of the poster... People loathe #HitByLightning's poster (via @reddit http://t.co/tYjPFvUxve) so I fixed it! Enjoy the movie Oct 31! :D pic.twitter.com/XUcZrcSyYw. Will Sasso (@WillSasso) October 2, 2014 The original poster features all three of the film...

Exclusive: It’s good that Will Sasso has landed the title role in a movie, but I’m led to wonder why so many film companies press forward with naughty titles knowing full well they will never make it to the screen because newspapers and TV can’t run the advertising. Sasso, most recently seen as Curly in the Farrelly Brothers-directed The Three Stooges, has signed to star opposite David Koechner in director Andrew Currie’s suburban comedy feature My Asshole Neighbor. Sasso will portray Jerry, a loud, rude redneck who moves next door to a professional mediator Paul (Koechner), turning his world upside down. Once his private little patch of peaceful suburbia is invaded, the usually peace-loving Paul finds himself waging war on Jerry — which ultimately begs the questions, who’s really the asshole, and which sphincter will prevail? Produced by Mary Anne Waterhouse, the film will shoot mid-August in Vancouver.

After securing a hefty raise, "Two and a Half Men" star Jon Cryer is in final negotiations to star in the indie comedy "Hit By Lightning," which marks the feature directorial debut of former "Family Guy" writer-producer Ricky Blitt. Blitt wrote the script, which is described as a cross between "The 40 Year-Old Virgin" and "Body Heat." Cryer is nearing a deal to play a single fast food manager who finally finds love with the perfect woman, but there's a catch -- she's married and wants him to kill her husband. Even...
