The movie is stunning, The negative is I tried to listen to it but I have a really hard time with this narrator. I put it on silent and read the subtitles but this version takes away so much of the experience. I wish they would leave everything as is but try again with another voiceover actor. I'm so sorry to say this to the man who is doing the current one. It's just the speech is too fast and one tone.
The visuals of the film are beautiful.
Background music is great.
It is a new perspective at looking at things and the bits that I have been able to get through, I thought wow never crossed my mind.
The film I really think is worth going back and doing a redo voiceover.

This movie is for those with ears to hear and eyes to see. I have watched it several times, and learn something new every time. Not all Christians accept the apocryphal books, and that is by design. They listen to men, not God's spirit inside of them. The narration is fine. This is a lot of new information for many people. I'm sure the first time you read the Bible it was very confusing for you too! If you watch it several times, you don't notice the narration at all anymore, you just hear and see the intended message. Pray for God to remove the scales from your eyes before you watch it. If you listen to the Spirit inside of you, you will get the message intended for you.
So let down. This proved to be the worst narration of any documentary I've ever seen, which is SUCH a shame. I'm sure the content is good, the problem is that his voice relays as if on +2 in a vocal speed setting. After awhile it's as bad as the teacher in the Charlie Brown movies and completely ruins the movie. If he would simply relax and slow it down it would be wonderful if not profound! Rather speed-reading through a script aloud, in a monotone voice, ruined it completely. I had to turn it off 1/3 through! Am I alone in this take? Bummed.
Forgive me Jesus-I really don't mean to bash this guy, but it's truly almost comical that they'd even consider this a finished product to share with the world. Such that can't be taken in affectively.

This was an amazing film which I will watch over and over. I turned the captions on so I could read along with the narration. So beautifully explained the mysteries of the Bible and how we can fill in the blanks from the Apocrypha. Such a faith affirming piece of art that I believe everyone should see, believers and nonbelievers alike. Don't let the devil talk you out of watching this film because a bunch of whiners don't like the narration. The message is so powerful and you will not regret spending the time on this film. The time to view and share is now, not tomorrow, not in a week. When you watch it in the natural, you'll discover tools to "see it" with spiritual eyes and bring a higher meaning to all scripture, both cannon and apocrypha alike. You won't regret it. Your challenge is to find additional triune parables in the scriptures using tools you learn in this film.
I was deeply touched by this film because i finally heard the words I hear in my head every week. Out of fear I cannot speak out loud the truths I've found in the books not included in the Bible it absolutely does mean something that those books were not included. Those books speak loudly of the spiritual and the powers that be back then didn't want us to have a connection w the spiritual and we can see the effect that has given us today. "Spiritual" ppl are completely disconnected from the spiritual. If you did have a spiritual experience and told most Christians they would call you a skitzophrenic. There is a disconnect. Mass judgement. Christians use their faith as an excuse and reason to judge others. We are to LOVE our enemies and treat our neighbors as ourselves. The Christian Creed has been lost to many and the book of Timothy and others are books I think would had kept that from becoming so widespread today. Every word resonated to me. This man has wrote this from the inspiration of the Holy Spirit and those of you that didn't hear and find something small to criticize him over so that you don't have to admit his truth or admit you had it wrong before have a log in your eye. The words in this doc are so powerful they SHOULD remove all negative criticism from believers because these are words you can't hear in ANY denominational church because they are so lost and disconnected today largely. This doc spoke to my soul and said things I have thought about and dared not say for a long time and then a ton of things I haven't thought of. This doc deserves a novel prize and every award in existence this man said what the Holy Father wants us to say. He gets it. So many in churches today but so few can actually truly see. This man can see.
