Includes guest appearances by renowned NHL players Michael Del Zotto (Vancouver Canucks) and Tyler Seguin (Dallas Stars) as players for rival team the St. John's Shamrocks.
The real Doug "The Thug" Smith, the subject of the book "GOON", has a cameo in Last of the Enforcers and can be seen during the Bruised and Battered sequence where he squares off with Doug Glatt and gets head-butted.
Park Kim(The first Halifax teammate Glatt stands up for) was a medical student in the first film. He returns for the sequel as the team's trainer.
'Wyatt Russell' played Division 1 college hockey for the University of Alabama-Hunstville Chargers. He also played Junior 'A' hockey in Canada and professionally in The Netherlands.
During the Battle Royal at the Bruised & Battered when Andrew & " Super Mario" say, Andrew "What are we doing here?" Super Mario "I don't know. I went to Princeton." "Super Mario" was played by George Parros, who actually did attend & play hockey for Princeton before eventually going to the NHL playing in 474 game emassing 1092 PIMs & winning a Stanley Cup with the Anaheim Ducks.
