- GoofsEarly in the movie, Hunter stops to gas up. While checking inside the gas station, he encounters several zombies. He is armed with a double barrel shot gun. The first time he fires, we hear the sound of an empty shell hitting the ground. A double barrel shotgun does not automatically eject empty shells. He then deals with several zombies in a back room. He shoots several times, and after each shot, we hear the distinctive sound of a pump shotgun.

This film begins with a new synthetic drug having made its way into society which is far stronger than any other illicit drug currently on the market. Unfortunately, it isn't until a little while later that it is revealed that this new drug has one extremely hazardous side effect--it turns users into ravenous zombies! To that effect, the scene then shifts to a year later with the entire world having been plunged into a zombie apocalypse with one particular man known simply as "Hunter" (Martin Copping) driving his black Camaro at a high rate of speed on a deserted road somewhere in the American southwest. To that extent, after stopping momentarily to kill a zombie in the middle of the road, he then continues driving until he a bullet penetrates his windshield and rips into his shoulder which then causes him to lose consciousness. Upon awakening he finds himself lying on a bed and being tended to by an attractive woman named "'Fast Lane' Debbie" (Jade Regier) who is quite eager to get to know him better. However, before she can go any further they are accidentally interrupted by another attractive woman named "Alison" (Clare Niederpruem) who has simply come in to check on him. Not long afterward, he meets the other members of a small group of people who are wandering from place to place in search of a safe haven from the zombies who roam aimlessly throughout the country. What none of them realize, however, is that some of these zombies have mutated into extremely powerful beings who are not only hard to kill--but also possess incredible power as well. Now, rather than reveal any more, I will just say this is one of those films in which the director (K. King) didn't seem to have a good grasp on what type of movie he was trying to make. On the one hand, it seems he was aiming for a comedy of sorts--only to switch things up by injecting some action or horror into the mix. In either case, he obviously didn't have the necessary experience for this endeavor and the end result was neither funny nor exciting. To be sure, I liked the acting of Danny Trejo (as "Father Jesus") and I thought that both Jade Regier and Clare Niederpruem definitely enhanced the scenery. But, other than that, this just wasn't a good movie and I have rated it accordingly. Below average.
