The storyline of this Disney film was real great and original and strong. The cast selection was fine enough. They really connected to the storyline and to their respective characters. Selena Gomez really stepped up big time throughout this entire Disney film. The chemistry that was displayed throughout this entire Disney film between the cast members could have been a whole lot better and stronger for all viewers to relate to it more.

I liked watching it but I think it was just different from what the series is. Like this movie happens and then it is never really mentioned ever. I think I really just liked it for being apart of the Wizards of Waverly Place franchise.

I haven't seen this movie in years, so of course I thought it wouldn't be as great. Surprisingly I ended up really enjoying it! The Wizards Return has comedy, action, heartfelt moments, and romance.

I couldn't believe how much I laughed at the comedy. I loved that they turned down the laugh track so it felt like an actual movie. Mason and Alex were adorable as always and Mason was really funny. Alex and Harper had such amazing moments that were so sweet. The magic and action scenes were actually quite good. Also, the lesson for Alex was a nice touch.

Overall, an amazing movie with a talented cast!

If you have watched wizards of waverly place then this will be a perfect movie for you!!!! It's entertaining and wholesome and ALEX is amazingly exceptional as always.

Positives for The Wizards Return: Alex vs. Alex (2013): This TV Movie does a good job at entertaining fans of the original series with these great characters. Selena Gomez is still fun and selfish as Alex Russo and she continues to shine with her charisma on screen. I still enjoyed her dynamic with Jennifer Stone's Harper and the lesson Alex learns from her was nice to see. The main villains of Evil Alex and Dominic were fun to watch on screen. The wizard battle between the two versions of Alex was a lot of fun. And finally, you still get some great humor in the movie.

Negatives for The Wizards Return: Alex vs. Alex (2013): The absence of Justin Russo is very apparent as the movie is missing some of the magic from the show. I don't like how the wizard council instantly believe Dominic just because he was high in their eyes and it makes them look really stupid.

Overall, The Wizards Return: Alex vs. Alex (2013) is a fun TV Special and a nice continuation of the original Wizards series.
