Red Yellow Blue

Disturbing, surreal, uncanny, disgusting, confusing. I almost had no idea what was happening but I somehow understood everything. Weird and surreal, yet very entertaining. A brand of psych horror I've never seen before. The extreme and distinct use of colors and almost psychedelic effects trigger unsettling dread to be seen throughout the whole short film. Didn't really understand some of the symbolism, but the visual aspects of the film demand your attention - this imagery won't be leaving my mind anytime soon. Director reminds me of a young David Lynch or Michael Haneke. Props to the whole crew.

Saw this in DC -- my wife hated it but I loved every part of it. This is the kind of movie that doesn't really resonate with most people, but when it does, it just hits you right in the face!!. My wife didn't understand it at all, just said it made her want to go outside and retch. Which is why I'd say this is the most cult movie I have ever watched. Many scenes in the movie were extremely unsettling in an almost childish way, which goes along with the primary colors featured in the film and its title. I hope this film finds its right audience, and I hope to see more out of this director and actors as well.
